Suzanne Smith, our Sales and Merchandising Assistant, was recognized as our most recent COE Warrior! She was awarded this honor due to being a strong mentor and a right-hand to team members, whenever they need assistance. We thank Suzanne for her commitment to the company. Please continue below to see what this honor means to Suzanne.

I am a lover of all things Disney

What does winning the warrior helmet mean to you?

Everyone loves to be appreciated, and getting acknowledged for good work feels great, especially when it is from your peers

What did you or what do you look for when it comes to choosing the next recipient?

Someone who isn’t afraid to take on any task asked, but also not afraid to speak up when something doesn’t make sense or isn’t working. Someone willing to offer suggestions to make things better.

How has COE helped you to get where you are?

Trust – They trust you to make necessary decisions to benefit the customers and our business. This builds confidence that you can make the right decisions when needed and not have to second guess yourself.

What goals do you want to achieve and how can COE help get you there?

Personal and operational growth. I want to continue to learn. I moved into a new position in the last year so I could learn more of the Sales and Merchandising side of things. I love that we have these types of opportunities

What is your favorite part of our employee engagement programs at COE and why?

That it is Peer-to-Peer. We often get feedback, good or bad, from customers and upper management, but you don’t often hear what your peers think about how you are doing. Sometimes they see more of what goes on in a day then management does

What COE value do you think you’re the strongest in and why?

Strongest – I would say being a team player. I take on whatever task is needed and do it to the best of my ability. I am not perfect in any of the Values but continue to work to do better with each new day.
