Jack Kramer, our Assistant Facility Manager in PA, became the newest recipient of the Warrior Helmet. He was given the helmet because of his good work and for how much he has stepped up during the COVID-19 crisis. While Jack admitted that he does not seek recognition, and solely comes to work to get the job done right for the customers, we still wanted to showcase him! Continue reading below to see what Jack had to say about receiving this honor and what he loves about working at COE!
What does winning the warrior helmet mean to you?
It means a lot. The fact that it is passed from previous winners makes me proud that I was chosen to be part of this group.
What did you or what do you look for when it comes to choosing the next recipient?
I look for someone who has a can-do attitude, is positive in challenging situations and is customer-focused.
How has COE helped you to get where you are?
COE has made me a more positive person. It’s nice to work for a company that truly cares about its employees and customers. I also feel more driven because of the culture we have here; always looking forward to being at the next level.
What goals do you want to achieve and how can COE help get you there?
I really want to advance with the company, and I have no doubt that COE will provide me with whatever is needed to do so.
What is your favorite part of our employee engagement programs at COE and why?
I like the fact that it makes employees at all levels involved. It shows that COE really cares about its employees and what they think.
What are you most excited for when it comes to our Penguin partnership?
I have been a huge Penguin fan for years, and it is very exciting to work for a company that is associated with the Penguin organization.
What COE value do you think you’re the strongest in and why?
I would say customer service. I do everything I can to make sure that our customers are happy and receiving the product they need when they need it. Sometime you may think a request is impossible, but it rarely is. You just have to think outside the box, and I feel that my team and I do a very good job at this.
