Dakota Daugherty, one of our dedicated night shift team members, was recently awarded the Warrior Helmet, by his supervisor, Shane. When passing the helmet off to Dakota, Shane stated that he is always willing to work and does it well. He comes in and works hard every Friday night and does it again on Saturdays when needed. We love having team members who genuinely enjoy their job.

Fun Fact:

Dakota is a family man, who loves playing video games in his free time; There’s nothing he enjoys more than kicking back on his days off

What does winning the warrior helmet mean to you?

It means a lot to me! It makes your hard work feel recognized.

What did you or what do you look for when it comes to choosing the next recipient?

Overall a hard worker. Someone people can depend on when they’re needed. Comes into work every day with the same positive attitude and mindset.

How has COE helped you to get where you are?

COE has helped me see the value of hard work. If you take care of your company, your company will take care of you.

What goals do you want to achieve and how can COE help get you there?

My goal is to work in a place for as long as I can and be respected within the company. COE seems like the right place for me.

What is your favorite part of our employee engagement programs at COE and why?

I like that COE is more than “you work for me, I pay you”. It’s nice knowing your company cares about who you are as a person.

What are you most excited for when it comes to our Penguin partnership?

Honestly, I like the Penguins logo on the uniforms.

What COE value do you think you’re the strongest in and why?

Quality – If you put time and effort in your work, it makes you strive to be the best. As an Order Selector, I want customers to see the pallets I build and think someone really cares about what they do.
